GSXR front end
Hi,
I've got hold of a GSXR750 SRAD top and bottom yolk which I payed the grand total of nothing for today. I need to get some forks and bits obviously but I think I've worked that out, it's just the bearing that I don't get.. Does anyone have the bearings individual bearing code? I have a really good bearing shop near me that I can order a bearing in for next to nothing so thought it would be cheaper than getting one from the states. Also what forks/wheel/brakes combinations will work for a curvy with the GSXR SRAD yolks? Also how much is the sv wheel worth, and the forks with KTECH springs? Chees Dan |
Re: GSXR front end
Its not an OEM part for any other motorbike, its custom made to spec and available from Twin Works Factory in the US.

Re: GSXR front end
an sv rim and forks would probley get about £250 ish give or take a bit plus would depend on condition etc...

Re: GSXR front end
yeh but it must have a bearing part number unless they generate it in house which I doubt, it'll have a small number stamped into one of it's sides

Re: GSXR front end
the wheel is pretty mint, has good disks, the calipers are clean with meat on the pads, the forks are ok with polished lowers but I get the feeling theyre a little bent.

Re: GSXR front end
fair enough, thought it was a standard fairing that they'd managed to work out as the job for them. if it was I could get it stuck on the back of a bearing order and get one for only a few quid.

a ryt will with discs you will get a bit more for the wheel compaired 2 selling it as a bare rim set of calipers with good pads you will probls get about £50-60 quid ish if the forks are bent then you probley wont get alot for them then! |
Re: GSXR front end
but if your gona do the front end swap anyway you will also get money for your yokes, mud guard and clip ons etc...aswell as money for the other parts you have said.

Re: GSXR front end
