NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

It depends on how deep the scratches. I presume its on fairings?
I have something called Farecla G4, its a cutting compound used on new paints, and it polishes up to a nice shine.
I have only had to use it once or twice, when the usual t cut hasn't worked

Depends how deep they are. If its through the paint then you wont get them out.

If not, try Auto Glymns Cutting Polish, worked a treat on my seat cowl after I scuffed it with my boot one day.

I had scratches on my plastics and ended up using a wax crayon of the same colour

As others have said, if it's through the plastic it'll be a respray.

If it's a surface scratch a cutting polish might help. Effectively you remove the paint/clearcoat down to the bottom of the scratch so that it disapears. Autoglym "Super Resin Polish" also "fills" the scratch with light polymer resins which helps.

The SV doesn't seem to have a clearcoat - based on the fact that if you polish it the paint ends up on the pad. Therefore you have to be careful not to remove too much paint when polishing, and not to polish too often because you could rub through the paint eventually.

After polishing, wax to protect the paint.

What are you using a brillo pad:confused:
Never had any of my SVs paint bleeding out onto the cloth. I always thought they had a clearcoat. In my yellow ones case the yellow is a pearl mica, and the paintshop sent a clearcoat out with the basecoat and yellow, when I had to to touch it up.

Cover them over with more scratches.
