Top speed...not very speedy....
 
I was on my way back from work and thought I ll give her a run as I only hgot her 2weeks ago.everything wAs fine until 95mph...she wouldn't go any further.she pulls fine from start and revs over 8k but still...any ideas?

Restricted points too...Just because it revs over 8k, doesn't mean it cant be restricted. Or maybe, your about 40 million teeth up on the rear sprocket :lol:

the sprocket at the back is the standard one so the answer is restricted bike then....
How easy and how expensive/cheap is it to de-restrict it?
i m sorry about the luck of knowledge but this is my first bike in the UK and before UK there were no restrictions in place...

Hmm, yeah, always useful to put up type of bike and your location, a nice orger may offer some help if they know what they are doing. Could be carb washers or the official Suzuki kit I think.

Depends on whether it is a carb'd bike or fuel injected. Carbs are generally restricted with washers whereas FI bikes have a restricted ECU.

Not sure if a Y plate is curvy or pointy?
