Suzuki GSXR K5 600 Radial Master Cylinder + Lever

Having a clearout,

This is surplus - MC is in good working order with no marks. Comes complete with reservoir, reservoir mounting bracket and good brake lever. Also comes with a bent lever that you are welcome to throw away or keep in the toolbox as a 'get outta trouble' spare.

Looking for [PRICE=£65] posted 1st class recorded.

Will work with a multitude of other bikes also! Perhaps the whole GSXR family. Came from a 7K mile GSXR 600 K5 but would work with the SV650 no problems, have one on mine!

Got it with me today so can post today so you could have it tomorrow/Thursday.

Nice Gixerbot friendly ad ;) ;)
So how much of an upgrade would this be? do you think it would fit a G1 ZX6R?
I'm guessing Clip ons are std 22mm size? & this is everything up to the brake lines? And there's a brake light switch connector? :???:

I tried on my 636, it did fit on the bar but i could not get the stock lines to fit as they were designed to fit on the end of a normal MC, mabey the G model lines are longer as the bars are on top of the yokes unlike the J & 636.

I don't have stock lines, i have braided, but I would guess they are stock length.
where do the lines attach? i can see the bleed nipple on top but nowhere that thelines attach? is it underneath?
And what about how much of an upgrade this would be? is it a matter of matching a radial lever to radial calipers? :???: or each of those would be better than non radial?
Cheers :)

Its underneath, so theywould have to do a 90 deg bend.

I dont know how they work on 6pots, ive got them on GSXR 4pots on the SV and its way more than enough, sharp, i like it.

Radial M/C works fine with axial calipers.

Radial M/C is more rigid.

the problem is not if its radial or standard calipers, its 6pot vs 4pot calipers, whats the diffrence

Piston area is only difference that matters. More pistons but same size MC = more advantage. But go too far and you won't move enough fluid to get the pistons to contact the disc.

Try it, I think it will work if the brake lines are ok.

So it's moving more fluid for the same movement? i.e. moving the brake pads more.

Why would it not work just the same on 6 pots?
