footpegs
hi all, is it possible to fit slightly larger footpegs to a 99 curvy as my feet are size fourteen and i have had problems keeping my feet on, modified the brake lever with a big bolt straight through with rubber sheathing to give me a fighting chance.
and no i dont want to put running boards on! |
Re: footpegs
me dont know..
but one thing for sure- make sure you have rubber on the top if you do change em.. I put none rubber on for a bit when me had a curvy and it shook me feet to bits with the vibration.. |

Re: footpegs
im surprised by this im a 13 and have no issues but that the hay a set of rear sets will sort you out with a little *******iseation, spacers will also work but be aware you will lose lean angle if you are a knee slider

Re: footpegs
thanks all, i have since changed boots to hi tec magnum hiking boots. believe it or not that has stopped the problem!i have had a look at a couple of rearsets though as a more permanent solution. knee slider, dave! i am a born again biker after several years off, so confidence is building way too slowly and chicken strips are still as wide as the m6.
