R.I.P. Dave a.k.a. Hovis
 

If what I have heard to be true from another ride-out group I am part of, it is with a very heavy heart that I must report that Hovis was involved in a collision yesterday and, unfortunately, died at the scene.

He was a very unique person and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

My thoughts go out to his family at the time.

+1, Hovis is OK, he's at rest now, RIP.

His Mum however must feel like she's on a different planet this morning.

Also, if it was indeed a collision, then my thoughts go out to whoever else was involved or hurt, either physically or emotionally, in the accident.

He was a great bloke and will be sorely missed by us all.

Never had the chance to meet him as i'm new but from what i've heard he was a great fella.

Guys, I'm very sorry to hear what happened. He was more a freind of yours than mine, a very good man and a ledgendary pi55-taker. He will be missed around here and out on the roads.

Don't know what to say... he was a complete legend, in the short time I'd been on here he'd helped me loads and given loads of support and advice, he was always willing to make time to help people out and really encouraged our little community around south wales to go out and have a great time.

An inspiration for us all, will miss him loads.
