Boots?

Hi,

When buying motorbike boots do you have to buy a size or half larger than in shoes/trainers etc?

Thanks

Nope. Just get some that fit. There are differences between brands.

In my Sidi's I had to go a size larger as they felt tight in my normal size. It seemed to be the width fitting more than anything else.
My winter boots - Frank Thomas Aquaboots - fitted perfectly in my normal size, but they are more of a leather-look wellie and are wider in any case.

My Sidi's are a size larger than normal, but you should really try the boots on before buying, each brand varies, as luike football boots.

I had the same problem with my jeans when i got a pair of boots, and my boots ended up being quite big in the foot, but my new TCX competizone s boots are 1 size to big in the foot (i have wide feet) but the only way to find out if they fit with your leathers is try them on with your leathers, dont forget leather gives, i found that i had to pull my leaters up a bit to zip up my boots but eventually they gave and i didnt have to pull them up

My Alpinestars a a little bigger than I usually take for normal shoes. Nothing beats trying them on though.
