C28 Fault code again!
Got the dreaded c28 code, bike is revving it's head off on a closed throttle, I take it it's unlikely to be a loose connection? :smt013:smt013:smt013

Re: C28 Fault code again!
Correct. C28 = STVA

Re: C28 Fault code again!
Megabucks then!
poo! |
Re: C28 Fault code again!
Check connections on the actuator first and then continuity on the relevant wiring between STVA and ECU - it may not be the actuator itself.

Re: C28 Fault code again!
Checked the connections, all OK, if it's a wiring job, then that's something I'll not be too keen on getting involved in.
It only happens after a sustained period of full power, that's the annoying thing, ride easy and it's fine, give it the beans and it gives up the ghost. |
Re: C28 Fault code again!
Or get a simulator/eliminator from Decosse then lock it fully open.
