Default C28 Fault code again!

Got the dreaded c28 code, bike is revving it's head off on a closed throttle, I take it it's unlikely to be a loose connection?

Correct. C28 = STVA

Check connections on the actuator first and then continuity on the relevant wiring between STVA and ECU - it may not be the actuator itself.

Checked the connections, all OK, if it's a wiring job, then that's something I'll not be too keen on getting involved in.

It only happens after a sustained period of full power, that's the annoying thing, ride easy and it's fine, give it the beans and it gives up the ghost.

Or get a simulator/eliminator from Decosse then lock it fully open.

not the best idea in our cold weather here as your auto fast idle will then no longer work correctly, that mod is for race bikes which are usualy on large thottle openings anyway
