Can anyone recommend any industrial strength decongestants please?
I would like my hearing back, I'd also like to be able to blow my nose without migrane powered pressure getting trapped in my sinusses and then slowly making horrible squeaky noises on the way out over the next hour... Off the shelf stuff doesn't seem to do much apart from make me feel like my lungs have been wrapped in cling film, so if anyone can help me out, I will be most grateful
 |

Doctor will just give you pseudoephedrine tabs, never used it mind, most likely an ingrediant in some of shelf brands though.

When I was regularly diving before now if I got bunged up I just double dosed sudafed...30 mins later hey presto, no nasty ear/nose blockages...it lasted a good couple of hours worst case

Sudefed works ok on the de-bunging factor. However IME gives you some very funny dreams!
Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing! EDIT _ just remembered Sinutab. They always worked and fix the horrible headache bit too |
Re: Can anyone recommend any industrial strength decongestants please?
Sudafed and Sinutab are both pretty good. Not had to use them for a while but both mum and dad have bother with their sinuses and think they are just as good as prescribed stuff

Dettol and a wire brush.
Sudafed & S inutabs dry the mucus and can cause more problems the consensus amongst medics seems to be going away from drying the cr@p up. Olbas oil on your pillow, and a steroidal nasal spray to widen your tubes to allow them to drain easier + anti histamine tabs to reduce the irritation. Or the Dettol remedy. |
