Wires and Electrics
 

Hi, just been looking at the bike for next season 2001 sorted the Brake line issue out but now its the elecrics and wow they are a mess, want to build a minimal keyless loom but not sure if i would be able to do it with very little experience in electrics etc.

Has any one done one and how simple is it to do?

Would it just be a case of copy he pic or more technical?

Hi Rob.
Use the link on Berlins reply and you'll get the wiring diagram-it works!!
Only thing you must get right is the 100 ohm resistor-but you can get them cheap as chips off e-bay!!
I had actually got my loom to within 3 wires off this diagram-just cos I wasn't sure whether to keep throttle position sensor!
I didn't have any probs doing the job-but I did work on Tornado electrics for 3 years!!

Thanks for the advice and diagram guys, had a good chat with Yorkie_cris today and i think its all going to be OK with some help from him. Im always worried about doing any electrics, don't have a mechanical back ground as im a Combat Medic still serving in the Medical Corps.

just wondering which club you plan racing with next season?
I'm in the NEMCRC-the Minitwin class there is thriving-a great bunch!!
Our first meeting is at Croft 9/10 April!

Im going to be running at any club that have dates that im not working, raced with Thundersport this year but cant do half the meetings so going to try and keep it up north as the dates are all looking good.

The clubs that I should be running with will be Auto66, NEMCRC and Aintree

The main plan for next year is to enter at Oliver's Mount if I can get the last 4 signatures on the licence.

Basically I just want to race and have fun.
