Cylinder head oil pockets?

As part of the rebuild it says and shows (unclearly) that you fill the 'cylinder head pockets' with oil before putting the covers on. I've posted some pics if anyone can shed some clearer light on where is should be putting oil & how much in case i do it wrong.

Is it the area where the shims are? - i wouldnt expect it be the area where the cylinder head bolts are!

The pockets are around the valve buckets, also pour some oil around the lobes of the camshafts.
Disconnect the ignition system and remove the plugs, turn the engine over with the starter in bursts until the oil pressure has built before first starting the engine.

Got it, enough oil just to prime it and lubricate around the valve springs.
