Would you replace this gear?
 

This is the RGV gearbox.

There's a slightly damaged tooth on the 6th Drive gear (the larger one in the pic) that was caused when the 6th and 2nd Driven gears decided to go their separate ways.

I'm spending a bit of cash replacing/upgrading the damaged driven gears, adding a taller first and replacing the worn selector forks.

The OCD part of me thinks I'm doing the work, I should spend the extra and replace the above too. The skint part of me thinks it'll be fine to leave as is and I'd have to be very unlucky to not get away with it.

Thoughts appreciated.

Replace it, it'll pee you off if it goes in the future and you have to whip it all out again.

Yep, replace it. It'll be noisy if you don't and you'll be constantly reminded of it.

We all know your going to replace it, you cannot help yourself. I'd leave it, if its as good as the photo makes it appear, but you can't feel a photo.

Defo change it m8 as any missgearing when riding could just shear it off when being ridden .

I thought we decided that was minor al a Richie's K3 failure.
As your down to the component parts on the motor I'd do it as it'll annoy you if you dont

If I had an RGV I'd make sure it was perfect.

If you're doing a job you might as well do it properly and all at once. (I've learnt this with powervalves regarding 2-strokes :smt105)

Wifey says that you should replace it all properly.
