Refinishing water pump cover?

Hi everyone !

Just wondering if anybody can suggest the way of fixing (re-painting, buying new, etc.) the cover of the water pump on my SV650 K9 as the paint is bubbling and peeling off :(.

Any ideas, lads/ladies ?

PJ1 black gloss high temp engine paint :-s

Although others may have better ideas and solutions

simoniz aluminium engine enamel is supposed to be the replacement for PJ1 silver which was according to a few websites very very close to original. for a good job you will have to take the pump off key/flatten it back then spray a few light coats to build up the paint.

Cheers guys... in regards to Simoniz enamel - do you know if anybody here has ever done that ?
