dyno jet power commander III
For a K6 650
Thanks |
Re: dyno jet power commander III
You thought about a Yoshi tune? Much cheaper and you wont get vastly different results on the SV.

Yoshi tune?

Re: dyno jet power commander III
Yeah. You can get your current ECU re-programmed by a Yoshi box. It doesn't have the same amount of adjustments as a PCIII but on the SV650 the difference isn't massive.

Thanks for the tip will have a look in to it is it the same concept still able to download maps and have it fine tuned on the dyno?

Re: dyno jet power commander III
Nope, no maps. You take it to a place that can do the tuning, throw them £90 and they will tune it. The 2 main differences are that you don't need to buy a power commander and the tuning is considerably cheaper.
Once it's tuned, you don't need to change maps, not even on the PCIII. The generic maps for a PCIII will not be optimised for your specific machine anyway. Regards Phil |
