320mm Brake Discs for GSXR 750 Calipers/Speedo Issue
I'm going to be needing new brake discs for when I put the GSXR front end on and was hoping to buy a new set of the Black Shadow ones as they're a reasonable price and a few people on here have said they're decent. But from what I can see they have either 7 or 9 rivets which will be no good when it comes to sorting the speedo issue out.
So I need other suggestions please. I'd rather buy new but can't really stretch to much more than the Black Shadow ones cost at the moment but am also a bit cautious on buying second hand (unless it's of one of you guys!). I've seen these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1907988966...84.m1438.l2649 which will do the job and sent the seller a few questions about condition, thickness left, warped etc. If he gives me the right answers back is he asking a fair price? Or failing that, would there be another way of getting arouond the speedo problem with the Black Shadow discs? I know Lance has come up with a nice tidy solution that works of the back wheel but seems to be a bit quiet at the moment. Cheers |

You can fit a speedo pick-up to your front sprocket setup, as well as the back wheel.
£100 seems a bit salty for used discs. |

And the guy reckons they're 100% straight and 5mm so virtually no wear. What would be a reasonable price then?

Just looking at the 10mm magnets to go into the sprockets on the brakes, does it matter what depth they are or can I just mount them flush with araldite? Ta.
