gsxr 750 front end swap curvy questions

hey guys
I have wanted to a fork swap on my sv for a while since I swapped out my forks for the later model adjustable ones after I was nocked off last year.
my local breakers have a gsxr 750 k4 I think- (could be wrong ive not seen it) and they don't want too much for the front end.
so my questions are:
does it matter what year gsxr they come from?

can i use the gsxr yokes?

is the stem and steering bearings transferable or will I have to make up shims to make it fit?

how easy is it to wire in a new sensor on the new front wheel for the speedo and calibrate?

any help would be awesome guys! cheers Tom :)

If you're doing the k4 swap, then you'll need one of these for the top yoke bearing

Its not that hard to do, and probably the speedo sensor is the hardest part to get right

Here's the part you need for the sensor
