gsxr 750 front end swap curvy questions
hey guys
I have wanted to a fork swap on my sv for a while since I swapped out my forks for the later model adjustable ones after I was nocked off last year. my local breakers have a gsxr 750 k4 I think- (could be wrong ive not seen it) and they don't want too much for the front end. so my questions are: does it matter what year gsxr they come from? can i use the gsxr yokes? is the stem and steering bearings transferable or will I have to make up shims to make it fit? how easy is it to wire in a new sensor on the new front wheel for the speedo and calibrate? any help would be awesome guys! cheers Tom :) http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/...ps3fc16f7b.jpg i enjoyed playing with the settings on these when i got them but would still like the upgrade |

If you're doing the k4 swap, then you'll need one of these for the top yoke bearing
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...pecial+bearing Its not that hard to do, and probably the speedo sensor is the hardest part to get right Here's the part you need for the sensor http://www.digikey.co.uk/product-det...H398-ND/280932 |
