There is a nick in the rubber just below the rim edge but unless you're cranked right over I don't think this would cause any problems.

Are the maxxis ones the ones with the diamond tread on the edge? and are there any flat spots on the tyres?

I've just had a look and can't see any diamond tread mate, also no sign of any flat spots.If you pm me an email address I'll send what photos I've got over to you.

Willing to split the 120/60ZR 17 Maxxis? As I only need a front for the moment and don't have anywhere to store the rear if I bought both.

Any chance of a pic of the Maxxis front and your preferred method of payment? If happy with pic I can pay for it later tonight.
