HELP...keep blowing a fuse
 

There seems to be a problem with my flashers…
The right hand flashers occasionally seem to trigger my Instrument Fuse to blow.
The flashers on the LH work ok, every now and then the RH will not work, the headlights dim and then the fuse blows.
Am thinking that its either the Flasher Switch, the flasher unit or a dead short somewhere within the wiring?
Anyone else had this problem?

any hints?

where is flasher unit (if it exists??) on bike?

Hi there,


Flasher unit located underneath the seat next to the fuse box,
try a libral spray of wd40,

Other possibilities is a chaffed wire?
Faulty indicator?

Not a lot of help but a possiblt starting point.

check for wires chaffing under the fuse and relay area under the seat

I'd say you have a shorting wire at a guess :roll:

I've seen bulbs short out too

also have you had to change any indicator bulbs recently? was it the same you put in to what came out?
