New clocks

I'm just thinking ahead really...

My clocks are in a bazillion pieces at the moment (mostly scattered along the A2)

What's the correct thing to do regarding the mileage, If I replace 'em? :?

Cheers...

get a second hand set of clocks which have less millage on them, then you can run the millage forwards to the correct ammount. To change the millage i guess that some sort of contraption would have to be made to turn the wheel for some time, but i dont know if there is a easier way. You can put millage forwards not back AFAIK.

You will have to make sure that it at least has more millage than the last MOT cert otherwise you could be convicted of falsifying the millage unless you declare correctly to the new purchaser all the details.

I can program Busa and the K3s on never tried an ealier model but sure it cant be that tough of a nut to crack.
If you know anybody with good surface mount skills you could remove your old eeprom and fit it to the replacment clocks job done.

Hello there...
I have just written off my SV650, it's a 2000, and has untouched clocks.
The problem is that I had different tyres fitted to the bike and the speedo didn't work, meaning that there is only 3333miles on the milo.
Hit me up if you'd like some pictures.
Thanks,
Blake.
