This little piggy went to market.....

This lttle piggy went home...
This little wire makes the new mini indicators flash...
And this one blows the chuffin lot up....

HELP

New mini's on the rear, with the OE indi's one side had a brown and a black wire and the other side had a green and a black wire. Both the BLACK wires went to the same connection. Hmmm, with my new ones does that mean I put both the black wires into the same connector and the ones with the stripes to be connected to the brown and the green respectivley or vice versa.
Also is the green one the left indi or the right indi???

And last but not least we are talking about a Yamaha Thundercat

Cheers

P.S. A speedy reply would be awesome because then I can HOPEFULLY finish this bloody tray, get in back on and have a pic on here tonight (providing I don't have to fight with the fairing and I can remeber which screws go where)

if the two blacks are commoned then it is most likely thats your earth or negative

you will need a miltimeter or continuity tester to check your minis take a bulb out of one (or both) then test which wire is the centre conection

this wire will go to the brown or green wire (easy to check which is which ) connect and see when switch is thrown then mount indie on side required

I just wired mine up in all available combinations till they worked ;) Works in all manner of applications... Never yet blown myself up, though I suppose it's only a matter of time.
