Very hard to find neutral

Can anyone help.
I'm finding it increasingly hard to find neutral when stationery. Its breaking my left foot off!! i took it into the garage and they said they'd adjust the clutch. It was good for about a week now its back to how it was.

Is it the clutch? or something else.
If anyone else has had this problem please let me know.

Cheers

Toby

I had this problem. Apart from saying it being something major, which I'm not, I was advised here that it could be
Too much oil - check the level
Poorly adjusted chain - check the slack..

Some other brainy person will be along soon

Oil change might help...

Lube the clutch cable...

Or there is a thing at the bottem of the clutch cable that changes your clutch pull in to a push, its a good idea to give it a new bit of grease. Also check none of the bearings in it have perished, if they have grease it up and order a new one.

Can't remember what its called though.

Thanks for that. The chain was adjusted at the garage at the same time. knowing my luck its probably something major!!1

Forgive my ignorance, you mean the main engine oil or something different. Yes i've just ordered my Haynes Manual for all basic repairs.

Appreciate your patience!

Check the adjuster on the clutch lever, mine works loose after a few weeks and I have to re adjust it and tighten the locking nut again and again
