Wheel axle grease type?

Im refitting the wheels after fitting some nice roadtec z6's on and we are talking axles from factory fitted tyres

Any recommendations on what is the best grease to use and some basic info on how i should cover it and how sparingly? and the spacers - i take it i should clean them up a bit first .....

btw thanks so far on all the advice this forum really is the best :)

Castrol LM or any decent lithium based grease is the ticket.

I had tyres fitted at Demon Tweeks recently and the grease they used was red. What is it? I'm assuming (hoping) its not rubber grease.

There's no question that greasing your tyres will significantly increase the mileage you'll get from them  .

Well impressed with the service from them. They even cabled tied my scottoiler into a better position on the sprocket. Shame they're in Wrexham and i'm in Manchester, i only used them this time cos the local places were booked up.
