SV650 Clocks

Just new on here and to the SV, I have bought a bike which was faired but was dropped and modded to be an unfaired one, problem is that the faired clocks are still on and look, in my humble opinion, a bit odd. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a set of clocks from an unfaired model, plus, do they have the same connection for the wiring, or as an alternative, is there a bikini fairing about that will look ok.

Cheers

Welcome Peeyabbs,

Just a couple of things that might help you out, try adding your location to your profile (others will know what area you're in) also it always helps to say which model bike you have when asking for advice (curvy 99-02/ pointy 03-present).

I'd guess you have a curvy as the clocks are the same for naked/faired on the pointys, and the answer is no the wiring is slightly different (mutli plugs) between the two, so you'd need a naked front loom, naked curvy clocks are a little rare, so you might have to go new or aftermarket (which isn't going to be cheap).

Powerbronze do a range or smallish nose fairings which could work.

Cheers Mark.

By pointy I guess you mean the faired one, it was faired and is now not, it has twin headlights and the faired clocks.

Ah, Now I know what a pointy one is, so mines a curvy, thanks for the advice.
