:(having trouble getting me sv650 into neutral sometimes especially sitting at lights, any ideas, cheers

Re: gear problems
Check chain, check clutch cable adjustment. Most likley culprit is the clutch. Try rocking the bike about a bit too

Re: gear problems
Ha ha, shake the bike? where did that come from.
But in all probablility it's the clutch adjustment, try the cam adjuster under the front sprocket cover, but also the normal, shift shaft, oil level issues. Cheers Mark. |
Re: gear problems
Morning all.
As suggested, the clutch adjustment is most likely to be the culprit. But also make sure the gear lever is pivoting smoothly. Cheers. |
Re: gear problems
What the others said, but check the oil level, I've found in the past that if the bikes got to much oil in it, it can be a b*gger to get into neutral.
