phil is away on a course tonight. i wanted to do a nice thing while he was away but it seems to have gone a little umm wrong (ish)
I bought some paint on the way home and i've started to decorate the spare room, i tried my best but it looks a bit crap - a bit splodgy and patchy and now i may have just caused him more work eeeeeek. i only did one and a bit walls because i didn't want to ruin the whole room. d'ya think he'l be mad?

Slaughter a cow and leave the entrails strewn all over the house. Then he won't notice the walls so much.

Sounds like it needs a second coat, what surface did you paint over existing paint of wallpaper ?

If its paint it'll need sanding lightly and then another coat putting over it I expect, but let it dry before you do so emulsion dries pretty quickly so you might get time to give it another coat this evening.

If it were me I wouldnt be mad...

Pah! have more confidence in yourself woman! If you are changing the colour quite dramatically then it will take at least two and probably three coats. Go back with your roller and go over it again, bet it looks much better after two coats.
