Simple answer is yes, they definitely sound better than standard with the baffle in. Even better without.

Personally thought I wouldn't just look at bikes already with an aftermarket can. Many excellent sounding cans are available for not a great deal of money - Fuel, Beowulf etc can probably be bought for around £150 or possibly less.
