squeaking and crazy speed count
I just de-restricted my bike today and at the same time had a faulty speedo replaced.
There's now a lot of squeaking, which went temporarily when oiled but is back again... also when I'm doing only 30 mph it's says I'm at about 70, 50 is about 100, etc. It says it's on mph but even if it's kph it wouldn't be right as that's not double mph so I'm confused as to what's happening! I was assured when I bought it that it's the right speedo for my bike. Any ideas anyone?? Ta

Just tried to change mph to kph (odo and hold down both buttons) but all it'll do is change the time. Tried a few times but no joy so I guess it's a duff speedo

More likely a duff speedo sender than duff clocks.
