Bent bits on minitwins bike

Had a bit of an off at snet racing and have bent a few bits on my bike and lost my spleen in the process, not at the track but it had split into 2. Suprisingly didn't hurt until hours later, when I started to turn white and passed out.

I though I better leave the sorting of the spleen to the medical professionals but i guess you guy can help with the bike - k3pointy

I need:

Clipones
1) A new left clipon std one
2) some racing clipons with a similar rise to the standard ones + replaceable tubes, any ideas about good ones and how much, the standard rise is because of my faring
3) anyone got spare std ones they are looking to sell

My forks straightening
1) how bent can they be (approx degrees)
2) do I need to take tubes out
3) how much

Rearsets
1)anyone got any spares they are willing to sell - racing only ones
2) any recomendations about ones that crash well, I liked mine but pretty much every part got destroyed
3) any body got a spare ones lying about they want to sell.

subframe is bent, I was thinking of getting one of the kicked up ones to get the weight a bit higher but how much should I be paying

Why do you want std clipons AND race ones? You can get several ones that have removable bars. Race Products are probably the best 'cheaper' ones!

If the forks are bent, have you tested the yokes?

How fast are you? If you are fast, then you can't really get away with any runout, if you are a couple of seconds+ off lap record pace, 1-2mm runout probably won't overly worry you if you position the forks such the runout on both forks is in the same direction. Have you tested the runout? if so, how?

Rearsets are a disposable item in a crash. Just get another set of the ones you had if you like them. (well get two, so you have a spare set of the next time).

Chap in Kingston straightens forks - if they are straightenable (think he's still doing them)- don't know how far that is but I could get his number for you if you want.

Clips... try ebay, I don't think you'll find many here. A set of Woodcrafts can go for about £110... but they're a bit lower than stock.

Forks. Leave them as they are, don't dismantle. Take them out of the yokes etc, and take them to Maidstone Motorliners in Aylesford, just outside Maidstone. He'll straighten them, not sure what the charge is these days. If they can't be straightened, he'll tell you.

Subframe. I have a slightly bent K3 rear subframe. It's only a bit bent at the rear, but for anything like race-farings, might be fine. Let me know.

There are a few secondhand spleens on ebay.

i have clips ons available... but im in mexico untill the 5th so pm me around then

i also have an old subframe off of a curvy thats bent at the end.. you can cut it down if you want... thats free to collector

I am fine just got a big scar and have lost a lot of my core strengh but that will come back in time. Just learnt a big lesson about internal bleeding, which I hope I can pass on two a few peps, if you start gettting a metal taste and you lips go white after a crash go straight to a hosptial.

I'm definatley more than a few seconds off lap record pace, I havent actually got the bike out the van yet to take it apart, but will do tomorrow. From looking at them I would think that there is more than 2mm runout though.

What rearset do you use and where do you get them from, I am really trying to keep cost down at the moment.

I use Valter Moto rearsets - i know they are not bling but they do my job ( on a tight budget) and the nice bit is the replacement pegs, first thing to go in an off (i've had a few replaced). I dont think they would be great if you are a 'big lad' but being light they are fine for me. £112 and replacement pegs £26 for a pair.

The only thing i have found about them is on very bumpy surfaces eg road races you do need to check the pegs remain firm - been known to get a bit loose
