This is a very strange request & I'm hoping that some people may be able to help.
My Managing Director passed away last Monday & he was a big biker. He owned an 1800 Goldwing & toured all over (Spain, Norway, Portugal, etc). His daughter has found a guy that has a Motorcycle Hurse & wants as many bikes to ride the route from Englesea Brook Chapel to Crewe Cemetry from 1pm on Friday. I just thought that maybe, if anybody from the org would like to be involved, that would be great. Many thanks for your time Col

Well, it was one of the best send offs I have ever had the priviledge to be part of & I want to go the same way. Dave's last ride was a great spectacle. About 28 bikes followed the hearse. The 1 thing that did really upset me was the complete lack of respect by other road users for not letting the cortege round a couple of roundabouts.
I even resorted to blocking them on my bike. To the complete pr*ck that tried to force thier way past me on the Sainsbury's roundabout in Nantwich & nearly hit one of the funeral cars, get a life. I didn't think it was morbid Dave, I think its a great way to take your last ride. The Triumph on the left is the one the boss had, it was so cool ![]() R.I.P. David Scanlan ![]()

My father in law passed away in July, and I browsed through the funeral catalogue and a bike hearse was one of the options.
Having seen this I think it reminded me that its a great way to take your last journey. Although I'd turn in my grave if it was a Harley, Trumpets are fine. ![]()
