does a scottoiler ruin the look of a bike at all??

Err, depends where you mount it!

No, if the resoirvoir is under the seat, you would be hard pressed to tell it's there or not.

Not if you hide it away no, TBH its not that distracting and will save your chain and sprockets so I think its worth it in the long run

If you stick it under you seat, then you cant tell it's on the bike. Get one, they are worth their weight in gold

I could take a picture of my bike... but you'd be hard pushed to see the tubes and delivery nozzle, so there's really no point.

Yes, my swingarm is dirty, as is my back wheel... but I did have the scotty turned up too high for a while, and haven't got around to cleaning yet. :P

On the subject of the scottoiler, what did people with K4s use to glue the pads that hold the tubing to the swingarm, the standard superglue, or the epoxy (recommended for brushed aluminium swingarms)?

I ask as I'm replacing the tubing and if possible, would like to avoid using cable ties to hold it in place this time.

From what i have been told, nothing really works to hld that stuff on... it will peel away...

if i am wrong then please say, cos i would be interested too...

You really don't need to glue it to your swingarm!

Mine's zip tied on... but you don't even need to do that, if you route it correctly!

Are you using the dispenser plate (that bit of metal you screw into the swingarm bobbins hole) on the delivery end? That wasn't on mine last time, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get away with just using that and glueing the mounting sleeves (those 2 transparent bits of plastic) in place.

As I suspect the tear in my last tube was caused by it being glued in place, firming up the suspension (so bending it a bit more) and going over bumps at speed, I'm keen to keep a bit of slack in it this time round.

I had a look at Sid Squid's at AR05 and it was very neatly done, so I'm hoping to do something similar.

My dads got one on his, im bored at home so its no trouble to take a pic if you'd like, his is zip-tied on with the reservoir under the seat.
