No.1 The freezer bag
Because although there are some very good waterproof jackets about, the pockets are not always so waterproof. Had to dry my money on the radiator about three times before I realised that if I put my wallet in a wee plaggy bag it would remain safe and dry. ![]() Anyone got any more ? |

Put bread-bags on your feet when riding in leaky boots in wet weather.
Obviously, I mean inside the boots ![]() |

Money bags.
You know, the ones for coins that you get free from the banks. Well a bit of kitchen towel or similar strong tissues (baby wipes after a rinse work well) soaked and squeezed just a bit. Pop it in and keep it in your pocket or fairing. Gets rid of those big bug splats you get while riding in this weather, or gets rid of the road spray/crud in the winter. Much better than any attempt with a gloved hand.

carrier bags.
allow you to put your trousers on OVER your boots. trust me it works, looks very odd but will allow your boots to slide through easily. thats presuming you already have boots on and need to put trousers on. ![]() plastic gloves if you get caught out in the rain and your gloves start to leak, stop at a garage and grab some of those gloves they keep on hand for diesel users. put them on under your gloves and they will tide you over til you get home. |

Gaffa Tape.
Oh come on now, it's the unsung hero of life in general. Almost everything can be temporarily fixed with the application of enough Gaffa Tape. |
