Default My first wet ride

Well, I did it.
I finally plucked up the courage and took my bike out for a ride about 5 mins after it had rained. The roads were still soaking wet and I thought I would just go for it. And you know what? It wasn't as bad as I first thought that it might be. That was my first time that I have ever ridden with any sign of water on the ground.

The next step is to take it out while it is still raining.

I'm on a high now.

Well done

I am sure you will get plenty more opportunities to practice

I don't mind riding in the wet so long as I have the right gear on - it is just having to clean the bike afterwards that is a pain in the @rse

Just remember to tuck your gloves inside your jacket sleeves. I filled my waterproof gloves with water loads of times before I worked that out.

i got no confidence in the wet, since i crashed my aprilia rs125 on the horseshoe pass pushing it too much when it was hammering it down, was getting some confidence back today when i opened it up toomuch and the rear stepped straight out on me! just take it easy in the wet, no unecessary risks like you'd take in the dry
