Insured 125 with them last january, ?250ish, changed to SV in june, ?500 ish also increased to TPFT. Renewal comes round, bearing in mind been getting ?5-600 quotes they offer me a renewal price of ?950. No perks, no euro cover, breakdown cover extra, no mods allowed. They are on drugs.

I was with Devitt for a while I found them quite good price wise till I got my GSXR and then they got expensive, i.e £981 for fully comp on the GSXR, I shopped around and got a better deal with ebike, for £498 including free breakdown cover.
Ring round as many insurance companies as you can find, MCN is a good source for companies if you are stuck for ideas.

Bennetts did exactly the same to me, they quoted me £200 more for my second years insurance. Hadn't had any claims or anything.

I used to use eBike, who were quite reasonable ... they only put my insurance (FC) up by about £50 considering I'd had one "at fault" accident in the first year.
However, phoned around and got a quote from MCE for about £100 less than eBike ![]() I hear that Tesco have also started bike insurance now ... their car insurance was always pretty good too! |
