spray recommendations ?

I am after a good cheap place to get my tank resprayed . I live in Bishop Auckland and wondered if anyone knew of a place close by ?

Hawk motorcycles in Darlo can do some respraying, but don't know how muck.

Give him a call he's reasonably priced for servicing etc, so presume his respray will be quite well priced too.

Will try and dig out his number if you can't find it.

Well Zunkus I can only say the sun has gone to your head over there . The blue tank was only intended as a stop gap to prevent corrosion caused by severe chipping and was always intended to be returned to yellow as and when money allows . well money now allows .
The one in Darlo sounds best . As I have a week off in May I was wanting to get some professional work done on the bike but was struggling to find one place to do it all . I want a rear tyre put on , chain and sprockets changed and a full and complete overhaul/major major service and the tank sprayed . If your man in darlo can do this in a week I will be one happy customer .

I may also need some electrical work done , it depends how it goes this weekend putting the new indicators on .

Hehe, I'm sure you're right. Well the weather man said its raining come Monday so maybe I'll be saner then Meantime, tomorrow is Sunday and its nice to be a little manic on an SV on a sunny Sunday, right?

No worries mate . At least you have got some sun . I was woken up this morning with an invitation from my 3 year old boy to go in the garden and build a snowman .
Looks like it will be another sunday spent polishing and cleaning instead of riding .

Well at least it's good weather to work on the SV knowing that your friends won't be out and about having the time of their life while you're busy getting the bike ready.
That's what happens to me every time I'm doing some modding to the bike. Its Friday and all the signs of a crappy weekend are there so I decide its a good time for working on the bike. The bike's on the stand with no wheel and I wake up to the sound of howling bikes making their way up the nearby bypass. Wow what a nice Sunday morning and my bike's in bits. You'd be looking at a very grumpy man there and best not be around

Looking to book the bike in somewhere now but am still struggling to find a repuatable painter . I have heard that there is a new guy at Crook (or maybe toft hill ) anyone know anything of this ?
