Default occasional cutting out

This has happened prob every couple of days since i got the bike about 8 weeks ago. Story goes. I let the engine warm up and ride off. I change gear several times, all ok. However, usually when travelling at 30mph or above, then coming up to a roundabout/junction. I pull the clutch in, when i do, i cuts out! It will restart on the buttong then be fine. Doesnt seem to be any rhyme nor reason to it. Any ideas?
Dont know if its related but it makes a rattling noise, been told this is normal tho as its the clutch release bearing
Meant to say its an SK2 model faired

Used to happen to me doing a right hand turn at the lights up from my work all the time.

Eventually (months!) turned up my idle and the "problem" is gone. I wish all problems could be fixed with a screw.

If its 1300 i doubt thats the problem. It needs to be around that. A bit higher and its no good either.

Maybe check the clutch switch?

And me. Same model as well. I found mine did it when it was wet or even damp. I serviced it, changed plugs (front was corroded on the porcelein and had evidence of water), oil change, air filter, various adjusts. I also tweaked the idle but only so as to set it at recommended levels, purrrrrs like a proper twin now.

An issue early SV's are prone to is the front plug getting wet or damp. It will tend to only run on one and will idle badly or cut out when riding (changing gears, slowing etc). There's plenty of tips on overcoming this on the forum (use search) including a fender extender which many have fitted; that and greasing the front HT lead up where it enters the head seems to be another.

First job on misbehaving SV's is to bypass all the silly safety switches. Sidestand switch is a regular culprit.

Clutch switch only affects the starter motor.

This issue applys to any 'suzuki' twin engine in the SV family and TL family, its not just early ones that suffer.
Down to the fact that Suzuki are a bunch of tight ar$es with the front mudguard! Yes a fender extender helps no end, and indeed our VRaptor has this problem on wet journeys, even that being a Cagiva(still a Suzy engine) they are stingy with the plastic too ...shame they don't do an extender for that.....and no YC we don't want a piece of drainpipe

I can forsee even the new Gladius may have problems as the mudguard is shorter than mine( or maybe my eyes decieve)

It was all done when i got the bike and it had a fender extended already on it. I might strip out the old one clean it again and maybe some silicone seal around it. Cheers for all the answers!
