As far as the horn goes I'm sure you do.
As for indicators I'm not sure, it could be a case of if they are fitted they must work, or bikes after a certain year must have them.
You could always phone the mot place and ask?

Yes for a horn and for the indicators if they are fitted then yes they need to work, fitted also means having the switch on the left switch gear fitted too.

Indicators - it's slightly more involved, but from what I remember the simple guide is that if it's a modern bike with any lights, and had indicators fitted at the date of original registration then it should have them fitted and working.

(I haven't checked with the regs/rules, but that's effectively what I remember it to be......... )

Horn is a definate.

Indicators- if fitted must work. If you remove them, you must also remove the switch. Just take the switch gear appart, remove the arm that works the switch (so no bits stick out), replace switchgear then put black insulating tape over the slot left behind.

Regards

Rich

Horn? Doesn't that mean just an audible warning device. I believe, although never tried it myself, that a bicycle bulb type horn or bell will suffice.
