anyone live near thacham or newbury

any one in the area dont know anyone round here if there are anyone out there get a few bike togther for a ride out from thacham or nerbury

Well it's not Thatcham or Newbury but the Shire in Maidenhead is not a million miles away and it's where all the local SVers meet. Rideouts, now the better weather has arrived, are pretty much every weekend. Come down this Tuesday and say hello.

Now that the weather's sorted itself out, I might try and get back into doing occasional runs down to Avebury of a Wednesday evening - there's usually a good crowd and a BBQ at the Red Lion. I usually stomp down the M4 and pick up the A4 at Marlborough, but it wouldn't take much of a tweak to pass through Newbury instead (or meet at Marlborough)

Any takers? Can't do this coming Wednesday, but the one after's a possible...

Wed after next is a definate contendor for me.

I have to admit I'm doubtfull. But you never know, if I catch Jo in a good mood...

It looks like any run for me this week is going to be pretty unlikely on the grounds that the only bike in my garage has been bought by someone and I wouldn't feel right racking up more miles on it.

If I get the RGV back by Wednesday it may be a different matter, of course, but failing that it's no play til the weekend.
