Default What I have learnt about the AR....

Hat's off to you guys, the weather, as usual for the AR, was awful...

What this has taught me, is - never book a weekend out on the bike, when the sv650 forum has it's annual ride out *snigger*

Yes, last year WAS like camping in a swimming pool.

However as you said, 06 was fine and 04 was great - so 50% good 50% bad does not make it "as usual"

Stop being so picky Mr S, I know what he meant

but what I have learned [please note correct spelling, OP - my turn to be picky] is that:
  • if you pay attention to the weather forecast you'll never do anything
  • that getting wet in a field and on the way round and on the way home is actually terrific fun, and
  • that come hell or high water I'll be there (wherever there is) next year

AR05 in the cotswolds was fine too. Just the last couple of years. As for last year, what do you expect when you go to the Lakes. How do you think the lakes got there?
