Had the SV in for the 15000 mile service today. All went well except one of the fork seals is leaking, which is a bit annoying since I only just fitted them. Roughly how much are you looking for a new seal fitted? I really can't be bothered doing it after the amount of time it took me to put the forks on
They also said the steering bearings were tight. And after riding their loan bike and getting back on mine I see what they mean. I hadn't really noticed before but it is a little tight. So I'll need to loosen it. They gave me a naked SV for a loan bike and it was unrestricted. WOW! what a difference, felt like a completely different bike. The power band is brilliant! With my bike its just a constant pull up until about 6000rpm where it just dies. Think I might make a slight adjustment to my bike tonight ![]() It didn't have any screen which was interesting ![]() Much prefer the higher bars though, felt weird at first, but its sooo cumfy. |
