Hein Gericke are still running their oil-and-filter-for-£25 deal. That's 5L of Moutl, air filter and oil filter. They also do a nifty drain pan/bottle for about £8. Halfords? What tools do you need?

i need a CCT (cam chain tensioner)
trouble is . . . i live so far from hein gerike that the money i save goes straight on petrol.

normally that wouldnt be a problem - however, its dual carageway all the way.

i just need a wire feeler gauge, one of them ruler thingys that are good for measuring cable freeplay, a smaller torque wrench.

i need so far . .
oil filter
oil
(dont need airfilter - as i have a KnN)
probably sparks (im on 34k and still got the original ones in)
dont need pads (they were done a few weeks ago)
some cable oil (should i use grease or a cable specific oil ?)
brake fluid (gonna change the rear fluid)
ive already got a drain pan.
tool to remove spark plugs with and a torque wrench to put the new ones in again.

im gonna be honest, this is going to be the first time ive removed the fairing panels
(bought the bike with 1k on the clocks)

cheers mate,

i thought cos it wasnt an SV, it shouldnt be in here.

i feel pretty confident doing it, its only changing the cam chain tensioner that makes me a little nervous. gotta be taking the fuel tank off (why cant FI bikes have a fuel tap ) and draning the radiator too to get to the sparks and the cam chain tensioner.
