Default Yosh Box?

Sorry to keep bleating on about the same old thing but think im gonna get the ecu remapped, im told this is all you can do on the k8's anyway
Price here is £140 to have it set up on a dyno
Just wanted to check i think i remember hearing about some1 whos kept reverting to the stock settings, could this be true? Is there anything i need to be aware of after having it done such as removing the batterey?
Gonna try and get it done next sat so after fitting my k&n tomorrow if the fuelling is a bit off i shouldnt do to much damage in a week right!!
thanks

Bit steep on the price, between £60 and £80 is the average price for this work.

If done correctly it shouldn't revert back to standard.

Even when the Yoshbox was the only option we used to charge about £80

The ecu wont go back to standard as there's no way of telling, once its been done you can tell its been changed but not what was done and when you 're-do' it your adjusting from the point it was adjusted to before.
None of the re-programming units/software available have the range of adjustability of a powercommander which is not a one way street once fitted and mapped, if you want it std just unplug it.
But a std bike with system/can and filter wont be miles out, the main benefit is part throttle stuff which a yosh box wont help as it only adjusts for low/mid/high fuelling, no throttle positions or rpm settings.
