Default Chain Cleaner

Anyone used the Wurth chain cleaner? There's so many different products out there to choose from. I know the Wurth chain lube is widely used and recommended.

Parafin/Parasene(sp?) £1 or less per litre and does just a good a job. Available at all good DIY shops/Peterol garages/Garden centres

Clean the chain with parraffin; even suzxuki reccomend this in the handbook for their motorcycles.

I use wurth dry chain lubricant on my bike, its good stuff but washes of quickly (so needs re-applying often) so i tend to do a light base layer of something thicker (silkolene stuff) and just top-up with the wurth stuff (carry it about in my topbox ). I expect the wurth chain cleaner is good stuff, but won't do anything more than parraffin does

as said mate, parafin defo the best, pour some on a rag, scrub the chain with the rag (if your doing it with the chain on the bike), think it was about a fiver for 6 litres from B&Q in the gardening section

Parafin, perasene or kerosine all works fine. If you want to know where to get it look here.
