Constant beeping during DVD playback
This is a weird one. Just noticed it tonight when the film went quiet. There is a very quiet beeping coming through the DVD player's own speakers. It seems to be affected by how bright the image on screen is. As it gets brighter the speed of the beeping increases. If I pause or mute the DVD player, the beeping stops. But adjusting the volume doesn't affect it. If I press next, the beeping stops for the split second while it loads the next scene, even though the image is still bright.
 It's a tricky one! Anyone got any ideas?
