been haven troubles startng my sv, put it down to an expierd battary, so fitted a new battery and everything seemed ok for one day, then the alarm started maken a new noise a consternt cherpin, and the fuel pump wouldnt prime would turn over fine but would not fire up, called lagunas in maidstone and they rekond ide "spiked" the alarm when changin the battery as i did'nt put it in service mode, i folowed the despiking instructions as per datatools website, but it made no diffrence!?! so decided to "rip" the alarm from the bike, as i was removing the live feed to the alarm i came across green powder! aka cooper rust when i took the tape off the conection to the main loom it fell a part in my hands!! (wtf) and that was the problem, but decided to remove the alarm anyway as its couresed more probs than its worth, and now the bike starts and rides lovey

Had no probs with my Accumen Cat 1, apart from the tilt switch is fubar'd, all works perfectly apart from that!

The Datatool alarm isn't the problem.
The fitting however is. Don't blame the alarm for someone's poor fitting.
