Hi I have a leaky bleed valve on my rear caliper on my sv650 and was wondering if anyone knows how I could stop this I think I may need a new caliper but would prefer a cheaper option????????????????????????????????????????????

New bleed valve or PTFE on the bleed valve if it's leaky on the threads.

remove the bleed nipple and clean the end of it and the hole it sits in, it is not the thread that seals. if it leaks at the thread then it is not going in fully and making a flush fit.

this is usually rust on the coned sealing surface, or sometimes a worn surface.
You can get good quality stainless replacement bleed nipples from Tasty Nuts. |
