Default R + G Crash Bungs

I get my SV650 Naked K6 Next Week and have a little bit of money left over from my Loan

Naked Black K6, Beowulf Rad & Oil cooler cover, Belly Pan, Pillion Seat cover, Carbon hugger ,Evotech tail tidy ,(Scorpion Street Extreme Can)

I have Heard people Talking about crash Bungs and Extenders

Will the crash bungs be any use on a Naked
and doest the extender atach onto the front mud gard ? i will commuting all year so this might be a good investment to proctect the engine more ?
are these easy to fit and where is the best place to buy.

other than that i think the bike looks good and doesnt need any more mods

The extenda (AKA Fenda-Extenda) is produced by pyramid plastics and as you say it attaches to the front mudguard to extend it and so protect the engine more. This is a must do mod to an SV which will be used in all weathers, as water spray from the front wheel soaks the spark plug(s) on the front cylinder leading to mis-firing.

Crash bungs are a worth while investment on any bike, as they can hold expensive bits like engine covers, body work, radiators etc off the floor in the event of an off. On your naked bike, the radiator is pretty vunerable so crash bungs is a good idea. If you go for R&G then make sure you get the later model bungs as early ones tended to bend/snap. You should also look up Motosliders bungs which IMHO are far better than R&G.

That's a nice looking bike BTW.

Bungs are easy, just bolt on! Google Motosliders.... http://www.motosliders.com/MS-1.html You have to order from USA but well worth it. R&G you can buy direct online or from most bike shops.

I would recommend Motosliders quite highly.

EDIT: there is even a pair for sale on here http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.p...ht=motosliders

You need a Fenda Extenda for a K3 onwards model bike. That busters one in your link above is the wrong one.

This is what you want
