Default Fitting r6 exhaust.

Hey people,

What if I fitted an R6 performance exhaust to my sk3?

Apart from making the pipework why would this be a problem?

Would it be totally inappropriately designed for an SV?

Or could it be made to work well?

Cheers Luke

I had an Akra Megaphone fitted.

just may and i stress may, need your ecu tweeked but basically you can stick any exhaust on as long as you can get the pipework done, then its up to you what looks good or doesnt

Hi Stu,

Funnily enough one of those!

But I didn't realise they where that small! Not sure I like the look of that.

I bet that was loud? Why did you take it off?

Cheers Luke

dyno lads can do it on site or get a power comander and you can do it with a laptop . its just the fueling specs tht get changed
price mmmmm dont know for a pointy but under 100 easily
other exhuasts well im putting a triumph t595 can on my curvy but blue flame and beowolf seem to be the most loved on here or if your wanting to get adventurous the renagade twin zuast sounds mint and looks f ing top
but like i said find one you like and "we have the technology to build it" is another motto of the org

It was a little loud, I think when they kicked me off Brands Hatch IIRC it was 114 dB

I took it off because I bought a set of Micron downpipes to make it even louder

But then just went with the stubbied high level Micron can.

That was mine before I sold it to Stu, the noise was just ridiculous, with the baffle in it was louder at idle than my full race system is at 7000rpm. Never even rode with it fitted, just knew straight away I'd feel a total **** with it on. But, there are other R6 exhausts which look ace and are a bit more sane, M4 or Micron are decent. I hated the sound of my Micron R6 but that's personal taste, it looked incredible though.

If it is a normal race can then it will be right.

Remap is not needed with just a can.
