Default Bugs in your helmet :-(

Not very nice

New (three month BAB here) is it just me, my helmet or the bugs around Wilts & Dorset, but on evening rides especially I have to put up with bugs / flies whizzing up the inside of my helmet and if not stunned or dead (bristled to death on my beard) they walk up & down the inside of it.

I'm sure they fly up between my chin and the front of the helmet as there's an inch gap there.

Any advice ?

Cheers
G

Scarf or neck tube. Or do what I did- gaffer tape a bit of cloth to the bottom of your lid to close the chin gap. Keeps the wind out too

Clamp you jaws together, then open your lips like a big grin then suck

Doesn't stop the buggers getting in but it acts like a filter.

Just remember to clean your teeth before kissing anyone important!

I get loads, often get them in my eye - really annoying had spiders and wasps too...slightly distracting
My lid actually has a chin cover too

Love this pic... reminds me of the Biker from (I think) the original Gumball Rally film.

Reminds me of Jack Nicholson for some reason tbh.
