Default Truvelo speed cameras question

If you had a pair of them maybe 100 yards apart;

camera 1, with road markings to get oncoming traffic from their fronts

camera 2, 100 yards later, other side of the road, facing opposite way. I.e still set to get traffic from the front.

Could these be paired off to give a rear view of plate? Fictional somebody saw "camera 2" flash, but did not see camera 1 flash. (camera 1 would be the only way to get a view of plate).

I think it's unlikely, has crossed my mind before.
Surely they can't be calibrated to capture oncoming traffic and 'going away' traffic (couldn't think of the word ) let alone monitor both lanes.

Now that's settled can I ask a question about average speed cameras that I can't be arsed to open my own thread for?

3 lane motorway: 2 cameras on the posts. Do they actually monitor all three lanes?

Yeah. They are merely recording devices which search out number plates and then relay them back to the computer to compare timings.

The old wives tale about changing lanes to confuse them is rubbish also.

Yeah I knew about the old switcheroo being balls, but just wondered if they required a camera per lane or not. Kind of hoped they'd cut costs by assuming no one would speed in the left most lane!

Truvelos are cameras, not constantly rolling video cameras like ANPR

I doubt there's a way to link a pair to do what you're saying unless you happen to speed past both of them...
